When dealing with coffee or tea stains, it's best to act quickly to avoid setting the stain. Your first step should be to rinse the stain with cold water. Then, place a paper towel over the area and apply some pressure to absorb any remaining liquid. For tougher stains, mix some laundry detergent with water to make a paste and apply it to the stained area. Let the paste sit for 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
For tea stains, start by dabbing affected area with a damp cloth or paper towel. For lighter stains, use some club soda instead of water. Then, mix a teaspoon of white vinegar with two teaspoons of salt and gently scrub the stained area. If the stain persists, try using baking soda and a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Scrub area with a soft-bristled brush and rinse with warm water.
Before beginning any cleaning process, it is important to read the instructions from your Kimono manufacturer. Some fabrics may be damaged if certain cleaning products are used. Additionally, spot test any solutions before applying them to the entire garment. If possible, take your Kimono to a professional cleaner to ensure that the best results are achieved.
