Gather Your Supplies

Before trying to remove any kind of stain from your Hollister clothes, you’ll need to gather some supplies first. Here is what you’ll need for tackling coffee and tea stains:

  • Towel (white or light-colored)
  • Dish soap or laundry detergent
  • Clothing brush
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Cold water

Blot the Stain

Once you have gathered your supplies, start by blotting the stain with a white or light-colored towel. Make sure to blot the stain very gently to avoid spreading it or rubbing the stain deeper into fabric. If the stain is still wet, continue blotting until most of the liquid is taken off.

Make a Paste

Next, make a paste using equal parts cold water and dish soap or laundry detergent. Mix two ingredients together until they become a smooth paste. Then spread paste over the stained area and let it sit for 15 minutes.

Scrub the Stain

After the paste has had a chance to set in, take your clothing brush and start scrubbing the area in a circular motion. Try not to scrub too hard or else you could damage the fabric. Once you’ve finished scrubbing, rinse off paste with cold water. Blot the area with a dry towel to get rid of excess moisture.

Try a Vinegar Solution

If the stain is still there after scrubbing, try making a solution with equal parts white vinegar and water. Again, apply this solution to the stained area and let it sit for 15 minutes before scubbing it off with a clothing brush. After scrubbing, rinse off the vinegar solution with cold water and blot the area with a dry towel.

Apply Baking Soda

If the stain still stubbornly persists, it’s time to bring out the baking soda! Sprinkle some baking soda over the stained area and leave it to sit for at least an hour. After the baking soda has had a chance to set in, rinse off the excess baking soda with cold water and blot the area with a dry towel.

Repeat as Needed

If all else fails, repeat all the steps above until the stain disappears completely. This may take a few tries, but if you are persistent you should be able to remove even the toughest stains from your Hollister clothes!
