How to Easily Remove Coffee and Tea Stains from Headbands
Headbands can become stained over time from regular use. Common culprits are coffee and tea stains which, when left uncleaned, can create discoloration and odor. But don’t fret. Follow this simple guide to learn how to easily clean headbands and keep them looking and smelling fresh.

Materials needed
- Baking soda
- White vinegar
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Soft scrub brush or old toothbrush
- Small bowl
Instructions
- Create a baking soda paste by combining 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda with 3 tablespoons of white vinegar in the small bowl. Stir the mixture until it is well blended.
- Dip the soft scrub brush into the baking soda paste and gently scrub the stained headband using an up and down motion. Be sure to completely cover stained areas.
- After the headband has been scrubbed, rinse it off with cold running water.
- If there are still stubborn stains remaining, soak your headband in hydrogen peroxide for 15 minutes.
- Rinse the headband off with cold running water and hang to dry.
Once your headband is thoroughly cleaned, you can wear it with pride knowing that it's stain and odor free!
