Items You Will Need

  • Dry cloth or paper towels
  • Soap and water
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Rubbing alcohol

Instructions

  1. Start by wiping off stain with a dry cloth or paper towel to get rid of as much of the liquid as possible.
  2. Mix soap and water and use it to gently wipe the stain. Don't rub harshly, as this could damage the material of the bag. Rinse area with a damp cloth if needed.
  3. If the stain is still there, apply a bit of white vinegar onto the stained area. Use a soft cloth to gently rub it in. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing the area with a damp cloth.
  4. For tougher stains, mix baking soda with a small amount of rubbing alcohol to form a paste. Rub the paste onto the stained area in a circular motion with a soft cloth. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing it.
  5. Alternatively, you can try using a laundry pre-treatment product on the stain. Follow the instructions on the package when applying it to the fabric.
  6. Finally, let the handbag air-dry before using it again.

Tips

  • Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners on fabric, as these can damage the material.
  • Always test any cleaning solution on a small area first to make sure it doesn't damage the handbag.
  • If the stain won't come out, take the bag to a professional dry cleaner.
