However, don’t despair as there are ways in which you can get rid of the stains without damaging your lovely lace. All you need is a few simple cleaning materials and patience, and you will be able to get your clothing items looking good as new.
Materials Needed
- Warm water
- Dish soap
- Soft cloths
- Mild laundry detergent
Step by Step Process
- Fill a bowl with warm water and add two drops of liquid dish soap.
- Soak a soft cloth into the soapy water and gently rub the stained area.
- Once the stains start to fade, brush the lace fabric with a clothes brush if this is an option.
- Rinse off the stained area with clean, warm water until all the soap is removed.
- If there are still some stubborn stains, mix one tablespoon of a mild laundry detergent into one gallon of warm water.
- Soak the stained area for about 20 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.
- Gently dab with a dry cloth to remove excess moisture.
