The first method is to soak your coveralls in a bath of cold water and baking soda. To make your solution, dissolve ¼ cup of baking soda into 6 quarts of cold water. Let your coveralls soak overnight and then rinse them off in the morning. This is a great way to gently remove coffee and tea stains.
This second method is great if you are in a pinch and need to get rid of stubborn coffee or tea stains quickly. Begin by pre-treating stained areas with a mixture of equal parts detergent and hydrogen peroxide. Let the mixture sit for 20 minutes before gently scrubbing the area with a soft brush or cloth. Once the stain has been removed, machine wash your coveralls to prevent any further staining.
Finally, the third method for removing coffee and tea stains from coveralls involves using an oxygen-based bleach. Simply mix one part oxygen bleach with four parts water and let your coveralls soak for an hour. Then, rinse off the fabric and machine wash as usual. Oxygen-based bleach is a great option for removing tough coffee and tea stains.
Nobody wants to deal with stubborn coffee and tea stains on their coveralls. Fortunately, these three methods can help you restore your coveralls to their original condition. Soak the coveralls overnight in a mixture of water and baking soda, pre-treat stains with a mixture of detergent and hydrogen peroxide, or use an oxygen-based bleach.
