  • Cold water
  • White vinegar
  • Cream of tartar
  • Baking soda

How To Remove Coffee and Tea Stains

  1. Blot the stain with cold water to remove as much of liquid as possible.
  2. Mix equal parts white vinegar and cold water and apply to stain, using a gentle scrubbing motion.
  3. To remove any remaining stain, mix equal parts cream of tartar and baking soda and add a few drops of cold water to make a paste. Rub the paste onto stained area and then rinse with cold water.
  4. Once the stain is gone, launder the item as usual.
