Get Coffee and Tea Stains Out of Your Chiffon in No Time

Chiffon fabric is lightweight and can be difficult to clean without damage. But there's no need to worry, as removing coffee and tea stains is possible when approaching the task with the right techniques.

What You'll Need

  • Distilled white vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Detergent
  • Soft cloth
  • Cold water

Instructions

  1. Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 2 tablespoons of distilled vinegar in a bowl with a small amount of cold water. Stir together until it forms a paste.
  2. Using a dampened cloth, apply the paste onto stained area of the chiffon fabric.
  3. Gently rub the paste into the stain until the stain starts to fade.
  4. Rinse the affected fabric with cold water to ensure all of the paste is removed.
  5. Mix together 1 tablespoon of detergent and 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide.
  6. Using a damp cloth, dab the solution onto the stained area.
  7. Continue to dab the solution until the stain is completely removed.
  8. Rinse thoroughly with cold water to wash any remaining residue away.
  9. Dry the fabric with a soft cloth.
