Here are some tips for getting rid of pesky coffee and tea stains on charmeuse:
- Start by wiping away as much of spilled liquid as possible using a cloth or paper towel.
- Mix a solution of one tablespoon of liquid laundry detergent, one tablespoon of white vinegar, and two cups of warm water.
- Using a clean cloth, gently dab the stained area with the detergent-vinegar mixture.
- Rinse the stained area with warm water and blot dry with a clean cloth.
- If stain persists, mix one tablespoon of cream of tartar with two cups of water. Soak the stained area for 30 minutes, rinse again, and then blot dry.
