Cleaning coffee and tea stains from Chantilly lace requires a gentle approach. Start by soaking the lace in cold water for 15 minutes. You can add a mild detergent or a few drops of white vinegar to the cold water if you wish.

Once the lace has been soaked, swish it around in the water with your fingers. Gently rub the stained areas with your fingertips to help loosen the stain. Take care not to pull on the lace or scrub it as this can damage the fabric.

After a few minutes of gentle rubbing, rinse the lace in warm water. Then dab a clean cloth in a solution of 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 10 parts water, and gently dab the stained area. If the stain persists after this step, you can mix a few drops of mild detergent into a cup of water and use a toothbrush to lightly scrub the area.

When you are done cleaning the lace, make sure to rinse it thoroughly in cold running water. Once the water runs clear, gently squeeze out any excess water and hang lace in a well-ventilated area to air dry.

This guide should help you effectively clean Chantilly lace of coffee and tea stains. However, if you are ever in doubt, it is best to take your delicates to a professional dry cleaner to ensure they remain in pristine condition.
