What You Need

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Old toothbrush
  • Sponge or cloth

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Mix one part white vinegar to two parts water in a bowl. Soak the stained area of the bra in the mixture for 15 minutes.
  2. Pour some baking soda into the stained area and rub it in with an old toothbrush. Be sure to cover the entire stain.
  3. Leave the baking soda on the stain for 10 minutes. This will help absorb any excess liquid.
  4. Once stain has been allowed to sit, rinse the area with cool water. Use a wet sponge or cloth to gently scrub the affected area.
  5. Once stain is gone, launder the bra as usual.

Additional Tips

  • Always use cold water when washing bras to avoid shrinking.
  • Never put bras in the dryer as heat can cause them to shrink or warp.
  • If you don't have white vinegar on hand, you can try using lemon juice instead.
