Coffee & Tea Stain Removal Guide for Ball Gowns

What You’ll Need:

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Lemon juice
  • Dish soap
  • White cloth

Instructions:

  1. Mix ¼ cup of white vinegar with 1 cups of warm water.
  2. Dip a white cloth into the solution.
  3. Blot stained area with cloth until stain is gone.
  4. If necessary, use a small amount of dish soap on the cloth and repeat Step 3.
  5. Rinse stained area with cold water to make sure that no cleaning solution remains.
  6. Mix together 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
  7. Rub this paste gently onto the stained area.
  8. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
  9. Air dry the fabric overnight.

Tips:

  • Always test the cleaning solution before using it on your clothing.
  • Try to remove the stain as soon as possible after it happens.
  • Keep all fabrics away from direct sunlight while they are drying.
