If your fabric is not machine-washable, begin by washing the stain with cold water. You can do this either by rinsing area gently with cold water from tap or soaking the article of clothing in cold water for about 30 minutes. This will help to loosen up stain and make it easier to treat.
Once stain has been exposed to cold water, mix together a solution of 1 teaspoon of detergent and 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Use this solution to gently blot the stained area. The vinegar will act as a natural bleaching agent to help remove the stain, while the detergent will help to lift the residue away from the fabric.
Once you’ve blotted stained area with the detergent and vinegar solution, rinse spot with cold water again. This will help to remove any leftover residue and get the area ready for drying.
Once the area has been thoroughly rinsed, hang the article of clothing up to dry. For best results, try to let it dry in natural sunlight. The sun will act as a bleach to help further lighten any remaining stains. If you’re drying garment indoors, be sure to place it away from any direct heat sources like radiators or electric heaters.
If there are still some traces of the stain remaining after drying, repeat steps above until all signs of the stain are gone. If the stain just won’t budge, consider taking the item of clothing to a professional dry cleaner who might have more success in removing the stain.
Cleaning coffee and tea stains from Armani clothes can be a challenge, but it’s not impossible. Follow these steps to get those unsightly marks out of your favorite items of clothing and keep them looking their best. Good luck!
