Coffee and tea stains on an anorak are common–but they don't have to be permanent. With the right approach, you can easily get them off your anorak and restore its original look.

Before you get to work on removing the stain, it's important to check that your anorak material is colorfast. To do this, mix a little bit of laundry detergent with water and dab some on the fabric in an inconspicuous spot. Wait for several minutes before rinsing with cold water. If the color remains unchanged, it's safe to attempt stain removal.
Once you've tested the material and checked that it's colorfast, you can start removing coffee or tea stain:
To prevent future stains, you may want to treat your anorak with a stain protector. This will help to repel liquid and make it easier to get out any unwanted spills. Additionally, you can use a cup holder or mat to protect your anorak when drinking hot drinks.
