Luckily, there are quick and easy techniques for getting rid of some of the most stubborn stains without having to resort to harsh chemicals or expensive cleaners. Here are some tips to help you get rid of those coffee or tea stains:

  • The sooner you act, the better. Blot the area with a wet cloth or towel as soon as possible after the stain has occurred. The wet cloth will help to lift the liquid away from fabric and prevent it from seeping further into the fibers.
  • Once you have blotted the area, apply a mixture of one-quarter cup of white vinegar and one-half cup of water directly onto the stained area. Allow the solution to sit before blotting again with a clean wet cloth. This natural mixture should help to break down the tannins in the liquid and lift the stain.
  • Follow up with a small amount of dishwashing liquid, such as Dawn. Gently work soap into the stained area. Then, rinse the area with warm water.
  • For more stubborn stains, repeat the same steps above, but follow them up by sprinkling some baking soda onto the affected area to absorb any remaining moisture. Let it sit for a few minutes before brushing the dried powder off the surface.

With these simple tips, you can effectively remove coffee and tea stains from your favorite accessories! Plus, using natural solutions can keep your items looking their best for a long time.
