The first thing you should do is take the piece of clothing off and turn it inside out. Then, using a spoon or a dull knife, carefully scrape off any excess chocolate or chocolate residue.

Next, soak the stained area in cold water for at least 15 minutes. This will help to remove some of the stain and soften it for further processing.

After that, mix a teaspoon of liquid dishwashing detergent with a cup of cold water. Dip a clean cloth into this mixture and gently blot stain. Don’t rub it in – just dab it lightly until all the remaining chocolate has been removed.

Now, fill a washing machine with cold water and add a few drops of laundry detergent. Put your stained item in the washer and start a normal cycle. After the cycle has completed, hang the garment up to dry.

If stain still remains, you can try applying a spot-cleaning solution. This can be purchased in any store that sells laundry products. Follow the directions on bottle and apply the solution on the stained area. Let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.

Once the stain is gone, continue laundering the item as recommended by the care label. Be sure to use a gentle setting to avoid damaging fabric.

That’s it! With these easy steps, you can easily remove chocolate stains from any of your Zara garments.
