Firstly, it’s important to figure out whether the stain is wet or dry. If it's wet, you may want to try using a damp cloth to gently dab away the excess chocolate. For dry stains, a toothbrush and some gentle detergent can help get rid of the pesky mark.
Once the excess chocolate has been removed, it's time to get creative and tackle the stubborn stain. Begin by creating a paste with baking soda and water, then apply it to the affected area. Use an old toothbrush to gently scrub the baking soda paste in a circular motion. This should help lift and remove the stain.
The next step is to rinse the garment with cold water. Make sure to take care not to rub the area, as this could cause any remaining residue to embed itself deeper into the fabric. Be sure to check that the stain has completely disappeared before moving onto the next step.
Next, you'll want to launder the garment. First, turn the garment inside out and set the washing machine to a cold cycle. Add detergent to machine, then tumble dry on low heat. Once the garment is dry, double check to make sure the stain is gone — and voila!
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
