Using a damp cloth

To start, make sure to act fast in order to minimize the damage. Then, use a damp cloth or paper towel and gently dab the stain until it starts to dissipate. To make sure that the stained area is free of crumbs, gently brush away any debris.

Create a baking soda paste

Next, make a baking soda paste by combining baking soda with water until you get a thick (but not too thick) consistency. Gently apply paste to the stained area with a damp cloth and let it sit for a few minutes. Afterward, rinse fabric with warm water.

Add a bit of dish soap to the mix

If the baking soda paste didn't do the trick, try adding a bit of dish soap to the mix. Again, apply the ingredients with a damp cloth. To complete the treatment, make sure to rinse the fabric with warm water and let it air dry.

Stain remover rinse

When all else fails, a store-bought cleaning product may be the best solution. Make sure to choose a product specifically designed to remove stains, then dilute it with water until you get a liquid solution. Soak the fabric in the solution for a few minutes, then rinse it with warm water. Lastly, let fabric air dry.
