If the stain is still in its liquid form, blot it immediately with a soft cloth or cotton ball. Make sure to dab or press gently in order to remove as much of residue as possible. You may need to repeat this several times to completely remove the stain.
Using a cloth or paper towel, cover stained area then apply ice cubes on top. Leave the ice cubes for at least 15 minutes to freeze the chocolate and make it easier to remove. Once done, take away the cubes and use a lint-free cloth to wipe the excess chocolate.
Mix rubbing alcohol with a mild soap and water solution and apply it to the stained area. Use a brush or a damp cloth to scrub the spot and make sure to use circular motions and apply light pressure. Rinse the area off with cold water and repeat if necessary.
Create a cleaning solution by mixing 1 part detergent and 2 parts white vinegar with some cold water. Apply it to the stain, let it sit for around 10 minutes, and then rub gently. Finally, rinse area with some cold water.
Mix a teaspoon of baking soda with 1/4 teaspoon of dish soap and enough cold water to create a paste-like texture. Apply paste over the chocolate stain, wait for about 10 minutes for it to dry, and then scrub off using a damp cloth. Finally, rinse area with cold water.
Whether it's a spilled bowl of hot chocolate or a half-eaten candy bar, chocolate stains don't have to be a stubborn problem. With the right techniques and tools, you can easily clean up chocolate stains on your Tory Burch items.
