Using a clean, colorfast cloth, blot the stain to absorb as much of liquid as possible. Use caution not to press too hard, as this could cause the stain to spread.
Mix 1 teaspoon of a liquid detergent with one cup of lukewarm water. Apply the mixture to the stain and blot gently with a clean, colorfast cloth.
Mix together 1/4 cup white vinegar and 1-1/4 cups water. Apply mixture to the stain and let it sit for several minutes. Gently dab the stain with a clean, damp colorfast cloth.
Apply rubbing alcohol directly to the stain, using a clean, colorfast cloth.
Once the stain has been pre-treated and treated, wash the fabric according to the care label instructions. Hang the fabric to dry, or tumble dry on the lowest heat setting.
