Gathering Materials

  • Cool water
  • Soft cloth
  • Dish detergent
  • White vinegar

Instructions

  1. Immediately rinse the stained area with cool water.
  2. Using a soft cloth, apply a few drops of dishwashing detergent to the affected area. Gently work the detergent into the stain.
  3. Rinse the stained area with cool water.
  4. Soak the stained area in a bowl of white vinegar for about 15 minutes.
  5. Afterwards, rinse the area again with cool water.
  6. Finally, launder the garment according to the care instructions on its label.

Additional Tips

  • If the stain persists after following the instructions above, you may use a specialized stain remover.
  • Be sure to test it out on a hidden area of the garment first.
  • Do not place garment in the dryer until you are certain that the stain has been removed.
