Step 1: Scrape off Excess Chocolate

Using back of a spoon or a dull butter knife, carefully scrape off the excess chocolate from your skirt. Be sure to do this gently so that you don’t cause any damage to the fabric of your skirt.

Step 2: Apply Liquid Detergent

Once you’ve scraped off the excess chocolate, you’ll need to apply a liquid detergent to the stained area. Make sure that you use a gentle, non-bleach detergent, and gently rub the detergent into the stain with your fingertips.

Step 3: Rinse the Skirt

Once you’ve applied the liquid detergent to the stain, you can then rinse the skirt in cold water. You should continue to gently rub the stained area until all traces of the chocolate have been removed.

Step 4: Soak the Skirt

If there are still traces of the chocolate stain remaining, you can try soaking your skirt in a mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Allow the skirt to soak for up to 20 minutes, then rinse again in cold water.

Step 5: Dry the Skirt

Finally, when you’re done cleaning your skirt, you can air dry it or tumble dry on a low setting. Avoid using high heat as this may cause stain to set further into the fabric.
