The first step to cleaning chocolate from Rosepoint lace is to gently remove any solid pieces from the fabric by picking them off with a toothpick or tweezers. Once you’ve removed the solid pieces, use a soft cloth or toothbrush dipped in warm water mixed with a small amount of detergent to lightly scrub the stain. Be sure to avoid using too much pressure so as not to damage the delicate fabric.

Once you’ve gently scrubbed the stain with the mixture, you’ll want to rinse entire piece of lace in cold water. Make sure to give it a thorough rinse to remove any remaining suds or detergent. If the stain is still visible after this step, you may want to apply a few drops of lemon juice to the affected area and let it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing again. Repeat this process until the stain is completely gone.

In some cases, the chocolate might have left behind a greasy residue. To get rid of this, simply sprinkle a small amount of cornstarch over the stained area and leave it for a few minutes before brushing off the excess with a clean cloth. Rinse the area once more with cold water, and allow the lace to air dry.

With these few simple steps, you can quickly and easily get rid of stubborn chocolate stains from your Rosepoint lace and have it looking as good as new!
