Instructions

  1. Scrape off any excess, hardened chocolate from the surface of the pot using a butter knife.
  2. Fill the pot or pan half full with hot water and add a squirt of liquid dish soap.
  3. Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes. This will soften up the remainder of the chocolate, making it easier to remove.
  4. Use a soft sponge or cloth to scrub away softened chocolate.
  5. Rinse pot or pan with warm water.
  6. For extra tough stains, use white vinegar and baking soda as an effective homemade cleaner. Combine equal parts of vinegar and baking soda to make a paste. Apply paste on the affected area and let it sit for several minutes. Then scrub with a soft cloth or brush before rinsing with warm water.

By following these steps, you should be able to get those pesky chocolate stains out of your pots and pans with ease!
