Step 1: Blot Up Excess Chocolate

The first step to removing a chocolate stain is to blot up any excess chocolate on fabric. Use a paper towel or cloth to gently dab away the chocolate and remove as much as possible. Avoid rubbing the stain, as this will spread it further and make it harder to remove.

Step 2: Rinse with Cold Water

Once you have removed any excess chocolate, you can rinse the stained area with cold water. Do not use hot water, as this can cause stain to set into the fabric more deeply. Gently swirl the water around the stained area to help loosen the stain.

Step 3: Apply Paul Smith Stain Remover

Choose a product from Paul Smith’s range of stain removers that is suitable for your particular fabric type. Follow the directions carefully and apply the remover directly to the stained area. Allow it sit for a few minutes before rinsing and repeating process if necessary.

Step 4: Launder with Paul Smith Detergent

Once the stain has been removed, you can launder the fabric as usual with Paul Smith detergent. Be sure to check the care instructions on the garment and wash on appropriate setting.

Step 5: Dry & Enjoy!

After washing, you can dry the garment as per usual. Your fabric should now look as good as new - no more yucky chocolate stains!
