Step 1: Gather the Necessary Supplies

The following items will be needed in order to clean the chocolate stain:

  • White Vinegar
  • Baking Soda
  • Soft Cloth
  • Dry Rag
  • Toothbrush

Step 2: Prepare the Shoe

The first step is to take the shoe off and lay it down flat on a sturdy surface. It is important to ensure that all dirt and debris that could potentially interfere with chocolate stain removal process has been brushed off.

Step 3: Apply the Solution

In a bowl, create a thick paste by combining a few drops of white vinegar, baking soda, and just a bit of water. Mix the ingredients together until a thick paste has been created. Take the cloth and apply this paste to the affected areas of the shoe. Make sure to work paste into all of the crevices of shoe.

Step 4: Remove Paste

After applying the paste, use the dry rag to buff off any excess paste. Make sure to be firm but gentle while rubbing the paste to remove all of the solution. Do not forget to wipe away any excess moisture as well.

Step 5: Repeat and Finish

If there is still residue left from the chocolate stain, repeat the previous steps until you are satisfied with the results. Once all of the residue is gone, clean any remaining paste off of the shoe using toothbrush and a bit of water. Let shoe air dry and you are good to go!
