Step 1: Remove the Excess Chocolate

Begin by removing as much of the chocolate as possible with a spoon or dull knife. This will help prevent the stain from setting deeper into the fabric. If the overalls are dry, try brushing excess gently with a soft brush. Be sure not to rub too hard.

Step 2: Create a Stain Solution

Mix a solution of one tablespoon of liquid laundry detergent combined with two cups of cool water. Then, dip a clean cloth into mixture and thoroughly blot the stain.

Step 3: Rinse the Stain

Rinse the overalls with cold water and blot them dry with a clean cloth.

Step 4: Pretreat the Stain

Apply a small amount of pretreatment spray or liquid directly onto the stain. Let it stand for a few minutes before blotting again with a damp clean cloth.

Step 5: Launder the Overalls

Wash the overalls on the highest temperature recommended on care label. Check to ensure that the stain is removed before you place the overalls in the dryer.

Conclusion

With a few simple steps and the right products, that chocolate stain on your overalls will be gone in no time!
