If you have spilled chocolate on a jacquard fabric, it's important to act quickly. The faster you attempt to clean stain, the less likely chocolate is to cling onto the jacquard. Start by taking a paper towel and blotting as much of the excess chocolate off of the fabric as possible. Do not rub or scrub the area, as this could cause the stain to spread further.

Once you have removed some of the excess chocolate, it's time to start treating the stain. You'll want to create a paste with two parts cornstarch and one part water. Gently apply the paste to the stain, then let it sit for around 15 minutes. Once the paste has had time to work its magic, dab the area with a damp washcloth.

To finish up, use an enzyme detergent or laundry pre-treater and launder the fabric according to the tag instructions. If possible, opt for a warm or hot water wash cycle. Do not place the item in the dryer until you are certain the stain has been completely removed.

By following these steps, you can make sure that your chocolate stains don't stick around for long. In no time, your jacquard fabric will be looking like new again!
