Chocolate-stained georgette garments can be difficult to clean, but you don't necessarily have to throw them away. Here are some tips to help you remove the offending stains and get your outfit looking like new again:

  • First, try to remove as much of the chocolate as you can by blotting at the stain with a paper towel or cloth. Don’t rub excessively as this may cause stain to spread further into the fabric.
  • If the stain persists, use a mild detergent such as Woolite and cold water to prepare a cleaning solution. Soak the garment for 15 minutes before washing it in cold water.
  • If the stain is still visible after you’ve washed the garment, apply stain remover directly to the affected area while the fabric is wet. Allow the solution to sit for 30 minutes.
  • After stain remover has had a chance to work, rinse the garment in cold water. Then air dry it or put it in dryer on low heat.

By following these steps, you can prevent chocolate stains from ruining your favorite georgette outfit. With right cleaning materials and a little bit of patience, you can have a spotless garment in no time.
