Using a clean cloth, gently blot away any excess chocolate from the corduroy. Be careful not to rub or scrub too hard, as this can damage fabric.
Fill a sink or basin with cold water and add a small amount of detergent. Submerge the stained area of the fabric and let it soak for 15-20 minutes.
After soaking, rinse the area with cold water. Then, using a clean cloth, lightly dab white vinegar onto the stain. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse again with cold water.
If the stain persists after the first treatment, repeat steps 1-3 until stain is gone. If the fabric still looks discolored, try treating it with a mild bleach solution.
Removing chocolate stains from corduroy isn't always easy. But with right technique and some patience, you can restore your favorite corduroy clothes back to their original state!
