Cleaning chocolate off of your clothing can be a daunting task. It's usually sticky, and can easily leave behind a residue. But don't worry—you don't need to retire those stained capris just yet. Here we will provide a simple guide to removing chocolate stains from clothing.

Step 1: Scrape Away the Excess Chocolate

Start by taking a blunt knife or spoon and gently scrape away any excess chocolate that may have hardened onto the fabric. Take care not to pull or tug at the fabric, as this could cause it to tear.

Step 2: Pre-Treat the Stain

Next, fill a spray bottle with some lukewarm water and a few drops of dish soap. Gently spray stain, being sure not to saturate the fabric. Allow it to sit for several minutes to give soap a chance to work into fibers.

Step 3: Wash According to Fabric Instructions

Now, its time to wash capris according to fabric care instructions. Add a small amount of stain remover to the wash if necessary. If your capris are white, you can use chlorine bleach.

Step 4: Hang to Dry

Finally, hang your capris up to air dry. Don't put them in the dryer, as this could set the stain and make it harder to remove.

And there you have it - your capris are as good as new! Follow these steps and you'll have no trouble getting rid of pesky chocolate stains.
