What You'll Need

  • White vinegar
  • Liquid laundry detergent
  • An old toothbrush
  • A cloth or paper towel

Preparing the Bikini

  1. Soak the stained area in white vinegar for 15-20 minutes. The vinegar will help break down sugar in the chocolate, making it easier to remove.
  2. Mix a solution of 3 parts cold water to one part liquid laundry detergent. Make sure detergent is safe for delicate fabrics.
  3. Gently rub the stained area with the solution using an old toothbrush. Do not scrub too harshly as this could damage fabric.
  4. Rinse area thoroughly with cold water.

Drying and Final Steps

  1. Gently dab the area with a paper towel or cloth to absorb excess water.
  2. Lay the bikini flat on a clean, dry towel and allow it to air dry, away from direct sunlight.
  3. Once dry, inspect area to make sure all traces of the stain are gone. If necessary, repeat the process.

Good as New!

Congratulations! Your bikini is now free of chocolate stains and good as new. Just remember to take care when cleaning delicate fabrics and to always follow the care instructions listed on the garment's label.
