If you have ever spilled chocolate on a prized pair of ASICS shoes, you know how difficult it can be to remove the stain. While other fabrics in your home may soak up the mess, shoes are quite challenging due to their texture and smoothness. Fortunately, with the right steps, you can clean the chocolate off your ASICS quickly and effectively.

What You'll Need:

  • Detergent
  • Soft cloth
  • Baby oil

Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1. Start by using a soft cloth dampened with warm water and gentle detergent to blot the stained area. Don’t rub, as that can spread the stain and damage the material. This will remove some of chocolate and also any dirt that may be stuck in the fibers.
  2. Make a paste from baking soda and water and apply it to the stained area, using a soft cloth or your fingers. Leave the paste on for about 10 minutes to absorb the stains.
  3. Rinse off the paste with a damp cloth, then press cloth on the affected area to remove excess moisture.
  4. Rub a couple of drops of baby oil onto the stain. This will help to lift the remaining chocolate.
  5. Wash off the baby oil with a soft cloth and warm water. Your ASICS shoes should now be stain-free!

Note: If the stain persists, you may need to take your shoes to a professional cleaner. The longer the stain is left untreated, the harder it will be to remove.
