Start the process by gently blotting the area with a clean cloth or paper towel. This will help remove some of the excess chocolate and prevent it from seeping further into the Anorak's fabric.
Mix up a solution of lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then gently dab stain with a soft cloth. Be sure not to rub the fabric, as this can cause more damage and set the stain further. Allow the area to air-dry.
If the stain is still visible after pretreating with soap and water, you'll want to apply a commercial stain remover. Spot test product on an inconspicuous area of fabric before using, then apply the stain remover directly to the spot according to the directions on package.
Once you've applied the stain remover, wash the garment as usual—either in cold water if it's delicate, or in warm water for regular items. If there are still traces of chocolate left behind, repeat the above steps before drying the garment.
