It’s an annoying and common problem - blood stains on your favourite Zara clothes. But you don't have to bin them or live with the stains. Here are a few simple steps to remove those pesky marks.

If the blood stain is fresh, first you should soak it in cold water. Fill a bowl or sink with cool water and let fabric sit in there for at least 15-20 minutes. This will help loosen and rinse out the stain.
Once material has been soaked, use a laundry pre-treater detergent. Apply treated area with a damp cloth. Work the detergent into the material in a circular motion, making sure all areas of the stain are covered.
Once the detergent has been applied, launder the item as normal - the hotter the water, the better the results. Make sure the wash setting is appropriate for the item in question. After washing cycle finishes, rinse the garment in cold water. If the stain still persists, repeat steps 2 and 3 before drying.
