Use a toothbrush or a soft cloth to scrape off any excess dried blood from the watch band or face. You may hear suggestions to use a razor blade or knife, but this isn't recommended, since it can scratch the watch's surface.
Fill a bowl with warm water and submerge the watch. Let the watch sit for 5-10 minutes before removing and allowing it to air dry. This will help loosen the dried blood and prepare it for the next step.
Squeeze some dish soap onto a soft cloth and rub it into the stained area. Rub in a gentle circular motion to help lift the stain, then rinse with warm water to remove the soap. Repeat if necessary. Be sure not to scrub too hard to avoid scratching the watch.
If the stain is still present, use a Q-tip or cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol to lightly dab at the stain. Dab in one direction and avoid scrubbing. For metal watch bands, use a soft cloth soaked in rubbing alcohol. Rinse with warm water and air dry.
Now that you know how to clean blood stains from your watch, you can keep it looking new and shiny! Follow these simple steps, and your watch will look as good as new.
