Blood stains can be tricky to remove especially when they have arrived on a delicate fabric like tuxedo. So, it's best to take precautionary measures and avoid such accidents. However, if you find yourself in a similar situation, here are some tips to rescue your tuxedo:

  • First things first, you need to soak the stained part in cold water.
  • Let it soak for about an hour and the rinse it off with a bit of detergent.
  • In case stain persists, try rubbing it with a cotton cloth or paper towel dipped in hydrogen peroxide.
  • Be careful not to spread it further and try to be as gentle as possible.
  • Once you are done applying the peroxide, let it sit for at least 10 minutes.
  • Finally, rinse off the peroxide solution with cold water and hang your tuxedo out to dry.

With these simple steps, you'll be able to successfully clean your tuxedo of any blood stains! It's also important to note that these steps can be repeated as needed in order to get desired results.
