Step 1: Dab the Stain With Cold Water

Using a clean cloth or paper towel, dab the stain with cold water to help stop it from setting in. You don't want to rub at the stain, as this may spread the stain and damage fabric.

Step 2: Pretreat the Stain

Spray a small amount of pre-treatment product onto the stain. Pre-treatment products are designed to break down the proteins in the stain, making them easier to remove. Allow the pre-treatment to set into the fabric for several minutes before proceeding.

Step 3: Soak the Fabric in Warm Water

Fill a basin or bucket with warm water and add a splash of detergent. Submerge the garment and gently agitate the fabric for a few minutes before allowing it to soak for several hours.

Step 4: Wash Fabric With Detergent

Once the fabric has soaked for several hours, transfer it to the washing machine and add a mild detergent. Select the delicate cycle and rinse with cold water. Hang the fabric to dry after washing.

Step 5: Check the Stain

Once the cloth is dry, check to see if any of the stain remains. If any portion of the stain is still visible, repeat the process until the stain is gone.

Conclusion

Removing blood stains from your tunic doesn't have to be difficult. Follow the steps above, and you'll be able to easily get rid of those stubborn stains quickly and effectively.
