When dealing with a blood stain on spandex fabric, it’s important to act quickly. The fresher the stain, the easier it will be to remove. Here are some great tips for getting the stain out:

  • Rinse stain in cold water as soon as possible.
  • Mix together equal parts cold water and hydrogen peroxide and apply the mixture to the stain.
  • Leave the mixture on stain for 10-15 minutes.
  • Blot the area with a clean cloth or paper towel to absorb the blood.
  • Rinse the area with cold water again.
  • If necessary, repeat the steps until the stain is gone.

Be sure to use cold water for each step of the process – using hot water may set the stain and make it harder to remove.

In addition, be careful not to scrub the spandex while trying to remove the stain. This could cause further damage and may result in a worse stain than you originally had.

With a little bit of patience and the right method, you can have your spandex looking brand new in no time!
