What You'll Need
- Cold water
- Dish soap
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Paper towels or white towels
- Laundry detergent
The Process
- Using cold water, rinse the stained area of the sleepwear. This will help to pre-treat the fabric and prevent the stain from settling into the fabric.
- Mix a solution of dish soap and warm water, and gently blot the stained area with this solution. Rinse the area with cold water afterwards.
- If the stain still remains, rub hydrogen peroxide directly onto the stain. Rinse with cold water afterwards.
- Using a paper towel or white towel, press down onto the stained area to absorb any excess moisture. Do not scrub or rub the fabric, as this can cause the stain to spread.
- Wash the sleepwear with laundry detergent in cold water. At this stage, any remaining stains should be removed.
- Finally, air dry your sleepwear. Do not put it in the dryer, as this could set the stain.
Conclusion
Removing blood stains from sleepwear doesn't have to be overwhelming. With a few simple steps and the right supplies, you can get the job done quickly and easily.
