Step 1: Act Quickly
The longer a bloodstain is allowed to set, the harder it is to remove. As soon as you see the stain, blot the area gently with a clean cloth or paper towel to absorb any excess blood. Do not rub the cloth, because this will only spread the stain.Step 2: Use Cold Water on the Stain
Fill a sink up with cold water and add a cap full of mild detergent. Soak the stained area of the scrub for at least 30 minutes. Check the stain regularly to see if the blood is loosening up. If it isn’t, let it soak for a bit longer.Step 3: Rinse & Machine Wash
When the stain has been broken up, rinse off soapy solution with cold water. Next, set the machine to the cold wash setting and add a mild detergent. Let the scrubs run through the cycle.
