Blood stains can be very difficult to remove from pavements and concrete surfaces, but it’s not impossible. With a few simple steps and the right supplies, you can easily eliminate blood stains from your pavers and concrete surfaces.
Before you begin, make sure you have all necessary supplies. You’ll need a brush, paper towels, dish soap, white vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and a spray bottle.
The first step is to soak up any excess blood on the surface. This will make it easier to remove the stain and will prevent the stain from spreading. Use paper towels or a cloth to absorb as much of the blood as possible.
Next, create a cleaning solution. In a spray bottle, mix together equal parts dish soap and white vinegar. Shake the bottle to combine the ingredients.
Spray the stained area with cleaning solution and allow it to sit for several minutes. Then, use a brush to scrub the area to loosen and lift the stain.
Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with water to remove any remaining soap and vinegar. If you’re dealing with a particularly stubborn stain, mix together equal parts hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to create a paste. Spread the paste over stain and let it sit for 15 minutes, then scrub the area with a brush and rinse with water.
Finally, allow the area to dry completely before using it again. Make sure stain is gone before continuing with your regular activities.
Cleaning blood stains from pavements and concrete surfaces doesn’t have to be a daunting task. With the right supplies and a few simple steps, you can easily remove blood stains without too much effort.
