Gather Supplies

Before getting started, make sure you have all the necessary supplies on hand:

  • Leather cleaner
  • Soft cloths
  • Water
  • White vinegar
  • Bowl
  • Sponge

Remove Excess Blood

Start by using the soft cloths to blot the stained area and remove any excess blood. Be sure not to rub or scrub too hard to avoid damaging delicate leather fibers.

Create a Cleaning Solution

Next, create a cleaning solution by mixing one part water with one part white vinegar in a bowl. Dip the sponge into solution and gently dab the stained area in a circular motion.

Apply Leather Cleaner

Once the stain has been removed, take a leather cleaner and apply it to the stained area. Allow the cleaner to sit on the shoe for a few minutes before wiping it off with a damp cloth.

Let Dry and Reapply

Once the leather cleaner has been applied, allow shoes to dry completely. If the stain persists, re-apply the leather cleaner and repeat the process until the stain has been removed.
