- Start by rinsing out area with cold water to loosen any dried-on blood. Be sure to use cold water, as warm or hot water may cause stain to set deeper into the fabric.
- Apply a small amount of your mild laundry detergent to the stained area. Gently rub the detergent into the fabric to ensure it penetrates deep into the fibers.
