What You'll Need to Clean Blood Stains From Nike Shoes

  • Cold water
  • Mild laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Soft cloth

Method 1: Cold Water and Mild Laundry Detergent

  1. Start by rinsing out area with cold water to loosen any dried-on blood. Be sure to use cold water, as warm or hot water may cause stain to set deeper into the fabric.
  2. Apply a small amount of your mild laundry detergent to the stained area. Gently rub the detergent into the fabric to ensure it penetrates deep into the fibers.
  3. Rinse the area with cold water until all suds are removed. Pat the area dry with a soft cloth or let it air dry.

Method 2: White Vinegar

  1. Soak affected area in white vinegar for three to five minutes. The vinegar will help to neutralize the blood and make it easier to remove.
  2. Using a soft brush, gently scrub the area. This will help to loosen the dried-on blood.
  3. Rinse the area with cold water until all traces of vinegar have been removed. Allow to air dry.
