Blood stains can be tough to remove, especially if the material is delicate. If you have mules with blood stains, here is what you need to do:
- Mix one part hydrogen peroxide and two parts water together in a bowl. Pour the mixture onto the stained area.
- Use a clean, white cloth or sponge to rub the solution into the material as much as possible.
- Leave it to soak for several minutes, then rinse off the stain with cool water.
- If the stain has not yet come out, mix one part baking soda and two parts water together in a bowl and pour mixture onto the stained area.
- Use a clean, white cloth or sponge to rub solution into material as much as possible.
- Leave it to sit for 10 minutes before rinsing off the stain with cool water.
- If the stain still does not come out, repeat steps 1-4 with a different cleaning solution like dish soap or laundry detergent.
- Once stain is gone, use a dry towel to blot any moisture from the area.
Blood stains can be difficult to get out, but with the right approach you can remove them quickly and easily. Be sure to test any cleaning solutions on a small area of the mule first before using them on larger stains!
If all else fails, professional dry cleaning is the best option.
