When it comes to dealing with blood stains on your Levi’s jeans, the faster you act, the better. The longer the stain sets, harder it becomes to remove. If you catch it fast, you can usually just dab the stain with a damp cloth and cold water to remove it.

If the blood has already set, however, it’s time to bring out the big guns. Start by wetting the spot with cold water. If the stain is still visible, mix a few drops of white vinegar with the same amount of liquid laundry detergent. Then, work solution into the stain with a soft brush or cloth. Rinse off the soap and vinegar mixture with cold water, and then let your Levi’s air-dry.

For tougher stains, you may need to mix a teaspoon of ammonia with a cup of cold water and work it into the stain with a soft brush or cloth. Again, rinse off the solution with cold water, and let your jeans air-dry.

Finally, never put your Levi’s jeans in the dryer if they still have a stain, as heat will set it in. If your jeans go through the dryer with a stain, you’ll have to start the whole process again.

With a little bit of knowledge and diligence, you can easily remove blood stains from your Levi’s jeans. Just remember to always treat them gently and with care - your favorite jeans will thank you for it!
