When it comes to removing stains from clothing, caring for them properly is essential. Professional dry-cleaning services and stain removal spray are all helpful in this regard, but if you don't have access to these tools, you might not know what to do about difficult stains like blood. Luckily, it's possible to effectively remove even difficult-to-clean bloodstains with the right cleaning technique.

Step 1: Treat the Stain with Cold Water

Begin by treating the stain on the leggings by pouring cold water over it. This will help to prevent the stain from setting. You may also use a scoop of laundry detergent to help loosen the stain.

Step 2: Soak in Salt Water

Fill a bucket or large bowl with cold water, then add two tablespoons of salt and stir thoroughly. Soak the stained area of the leggings in the salty water for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Wash and Dry

Take leggings out of the salt water and rinse the stained area with cold water. Then, launder the leggings as usual. Dry the leggings using low heat, being careful to avoid high temperatures that could set stain.

With the above steps, you can successfully get rid of stubborn blood stains from your leggings. Just remember to rinse the stained area with cold water before laundering, and to always check the garment's care label first before attempting any stain removal techniques.
