Blood stains on lace can be a tricky thing since fabric is quite delicate. To get rid of the stain, you’ll need to take special care to ensure that you don’t damage the fabric or leave any residue behind. Here are some methods to try:
Create a cleaning solution with a teaspoon of mild liquid dish soap and three cups of cold water. Place the stained area in the solution and let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse the lace with cold water and check to see if the stain is gone. If not, move on to method 2.
Mix a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide with a single cup of cold water. Soak stained area of the lace in the mixture for 15 minutes. Rinse the stained area with cold water and check for progress. If stain persists, move on to method 3.
Mix one-quarter cup of white vinegar and one teaspoon of ammonia with a single cup of cold water. Dip the stained area into the solution and let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse the lace with cold water and check the stain again. If it’s still there, move on to method 4.
Create a cleaning solution with half cup liquid detergent and a single cup of water. Place stained area in the solution for 30 minutes. Rinse the lace with cold water. Check stained area again to see if stain has been removed. If not, repeat methods 2-4 until stain disappears completely.
