What You'll Need

  • Cold water
  • Dish soap
  • A soft-bristled brush or toothbrush
  • White paper towels

Instructions

  1. Soak up as much of the blood stain as possible using a white paper towel.
  2. Mix a tablespoon of dish soap into a cup of cold water.
  3. Dampen a white paper towel with the soapy water, then gently dab soapy water onto the blood stain.
  4. Scrub the stain with a soft-bristled brush or toothbrush.
  5. Rinse stained area with cold water.
  6. Repeat these steps until the stain is gone.
  7. Let the shoe air dry.

Additional Tips

  • If stain persists, try soaking the shoe in the soapy water for 20-30 minutes.
  • When scrubbing the stain, use gentle pressure and short strokes.
  • Be sure to rinse stained area thoroughly after scrubbing.
