Before starting any stain-removal process, make sure to gather the appropriate supplies. For blood stains, you'll need cold water, a clean cloth, laundry detergent, stain remover, white vinegar, and a spray bottle.
To begin, fill a sink or bucket with cold water and add a few drops of laundry detergent. Place the stained garment in the soapy water and let it soak for up to 30 minutes. If you have a particularly tricky stain, you can also add a tablespoon of stain remover and white vinegar to the solution.
Once the item has fully soaked, take it out and use a clean cloth to gently scrub the stained area. Make sure to concentrate on the center of stain, and use circular motions when scrubbing. Once you've worked up a lather, rinse the item in cold water and carefully rub any remaining stains clean.
To finish, put the joggers in the washing machine and set it on a cold-water cycle. As an extra precaution against the stain returning, you can spot-treat the area with a mild detergent before placing the joggers into washer. When cycle is complete, inspect joggers and repeat the cleaning process as needed.
